I delivered a brief discussion on the topic ”The Dynamics of Prophet Mohammad’s ( p.b.u.h) Leadership and their Relevance and Implications to the Context of Post-Modern World ” in a Webinar arranged by University of Tehran held on 24th December 2022. A few distinguished speakers from several countries delivered their discussions to the program. Prof.Dr.Kurt Andres Richardson, University of McMaster, Canada and Dr. Rabiye Cetin, University of Ankara,Turkey was the other two Guest Speakers in my Session. In his deliberation, Dr. Kurt Andres refers one of my viewpoints that is related to the emergence of dynamic Muslim World, current Muslim Civilizational dynamism and advanced approaches towards the Western dominant and the position of Post-modern narrative. In relation to my views, Dr.Kurt opined: Western world should work with Muslim World as a partnership not dominant. I think, this point is very progressive, highly relevant to the contexts of current global orders. In my deliberation, I tried to say:
‘ Islam brought peace and prosperity to the world and created a great civilization. It is the holistic source of man’s spiritual, intellectual, moral and worldly advancement. Islam guides man to achieve wellbeing in both the worlds: in this world and in the hereafter. Indeed, Islam is a religion of knowledge, wisdom, development, progress, and civilization. It sets a complete code of life with a dynamic world order. Islam was practiced by the last Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h) based on the revelation of the Qur’an, during the period of his mission (610-632AD). He was ordered to rehearse unto man the signs of Allah, purify them, and instruct them in the scripture and wisdom. The Prophet Mohammad, (p.b.u.h), was par excellence in character and personality and he was known as a champion of dynamism, expertise, and skill. He was a great teacher, trainer, leader, and an ideal ruler directly guided by Allah. In the verse of the first revelation, Allah commanded Him: ‘‘Read in the name of Your Lord Who Created. (He) created man from a clot. Read: And your Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who teaches by the pen. (He) teaches man that which he knew not.’’ (96: 1-5). The Prophet Mohammad said: “I was sent to complete (to show and practice) the akhlaq (character).’’ Through the teaching of the Prophet Mohammad, Muslims realized the value of knowledge, the ‘traits of good deeds, and the essence of Allah’s creature, His attributes, the signs of the absolute Creator, and the dynamics of the universe. Finally, the Prophet left a vast and very vibrant Islamic civilization to the world founded on revealed knowledge, wisdom, and practical efforts. The Prophet’s teaching transformed Muslims from simple minded, hot-tempered people to builders of civilization, capable of reasoning sophisticated issues within the framework of Qur’an. Thus, as adherents of the Prophet, all Muslims are obliged to nourish themselves through the pursuit of knowledge to understand perfectly the real meaning, goal, and purpose of the wondrous creations of Allah. The intellectual (ulul albab) Muslims can do it through deep observation, thinking, reading, and writing. According to Rauf, “The pursuit of more and more knowledge is praised, and the status of those with knowledge is highly raised.” In this way Muslims develop, cultivate, modify, and improve their sound mind and iI delivered a brief discussion on the topic ”The Dynamics of Prophet Mohammad’s ( p.b.u.h) Leadership and their Relevance and Implications to the Context of Post-Modern World ” in a Webinar arranged by University of Tehran held on 24th December 2022. Dynamism, expertise and skill are the major key traits and factors of our Prophet’s leadership. These qualities were significantly exemplified in dealing with the social systems, geo-politics, geo-economics, security, and other strategic affairs of his works, mission and state management. Such kind of characteristics glorified his personal intellect, capability, high ability based on the strategic knowledge and merit and led him to be distinguished. Particularly, all of his dynamism worked in his life in dealing with the various socio-economic-educational, cultural and political affairs of the then time. Especially these issues were related to the communications, management, dealing defense and security, leading military forces, handling of the enmities of the peoples, conflict, clash, crisis, wars, trade-business. Everything was related to the then communities, societies, ethnic groups and regional and global powers of emerging new Arab and Muslim world order. In this case, few infrastructural developments were very significant as well because it visualized Prophets’ success and expertise in terms of civilizational efforts and progress. Indeed, such kind of illustrious features played a vital role to establish him as a man of letters, strategic personality, finally, ‘an advanced Statesman’ as well as an outstanding thinker and expert on the national and global affairs. Through the ages, Islamic civilisation played a significant role and remarkable contribution to lead the various progress and development for the whole human society of the world. That was, indeed, the fruitful legacy and ideal world order left and shaped by Prophet that subsequently establishes and conveys persistently the historical phenomenon and the particular narrative in favour of religious role and input. Thus, in reality, the religious world order or faith based ideal system has been treated as the effective-essential tools and source for the any advancement and continuation of the progressive world. Various historical documents have shown the distinguished examples and advanced models of Muslim rules, civilizations as well as effective contributions of many distinctive empires which were being embodied and signified with the glorious eras and golden ages throughout the history. Unfortunately, such kind of facts and milestones of Islamic role and ability was not being recognised and acceptable to the concept and outlook of Western modernism until last twentieth century. However, all these dynamic ideals and legacy of Prophet are extensively relevant for all the ages, even particularly to the modern age. Hence, in line of the historical continuation of success and progress, all these illustrious perspectives and examples are bold base and pillar for the current ‘Dynamic Muslim World’ towards an emerging new ‘Faith-based World Civilization’. Indeed, such kind of dynamic Muslim World is distinctively and effectively a key part of ongoing ‘Post-modern Global World’.
